Best of Krabi Nightlife, Night Markets and Bars

Krabi Full Moon Party

No matter what kind of travel style you have, the wild nightlife in Krabi town is something you just can’t skip. Being a nightlife party freak, I captured some exciting facts about the best places to party in Krabi.

I observed that many of you guys land at the airport of Krabi town, pick a minivan straight to Ao Nang, one of the most developed and popular beach towns in the region.

Many of you are not aware the nightlife at Krabi town is more attractive than in Ao Nang.

Seriously, this is what I observed when visited those regions. While it can’t join the same league as Bangkok nightlife, Krabi has its own distinctive choice of entertainment opportunities after dark.

Are you looking to sip a chilled drink on the beachside, or looking to have a special lager at an offbeat theme pub or night of heart thumbing moves on a glitzy dance floor?

Regardless, nightlife at Krabi Island surely delights you! Here you go some of the best nightlife spots that make both decent and wild Krabi party areas.

  2. Kwan Fang with good live music pub;

Railay and Ton Sai beaches

tonsai beach krabi

Despite being a bit isolated, Railay and Ton Sai beaches offer some of the most lively parties with a wide range of beach clubs for young people.

Regular all-night parties are hosted by Ton Sai beach hosts for the Krabi full moon party and new moon during the high season.

Railay beach hosts offer well-known parties in the east sidebars. However, Phi Phi offers the wildest nights and best nightlife in Krabi.

Some of the best Krabi beach clubs are Bamboo Bar, a beachside bar located on the shoreline towards the end of Railay walking street which is not only known for its parties, but also for its bustling scenic views during the day.

The start off with chill beach vibes and awesome sunset melodies and continues throughout the night with strong cocktails on the dance floor live music and lights up the beach with glimmering led lights.

One more perfect beach bar is Freedom Bar with all kinds of elements such as carved wooden tables, comfortable bean bags, and tasty drinks with awesome evening sunsets.

This bar keeps you engaging in all ways with fine artists, pool tables, and live tattoo artists. You can also choose to stargaze while relaxing on the beachside lounge chairs.

Night Markets in Krabi Town

Krabi Night Market

Krabi Walking Street is the most famous night market in the town. This is known as one of the largest night markets in the whole of Sothern Thailand.

It would be a great place to start your evenings not much for the typical clothes selection and some variety of accessories and things you might not need, but it is more for the atmospheric outdoor seating area with a huge number of food stalls offering snack and drink vendors all surrounding the market.

The market at Krabi Walking Street is set up on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from around 5 pm to 11 pm.

There are also a couple more daily night markets in Krabi Town. One is set up at riverside and is most popular for foreign tourists. And the other is situated at Vicar Road and is most popular for local Thais.

So, having calm beaches with exiting night parties, lively bars, and nightclubs surrounded by bustling markets, Krabi is a small awesome town with its great cocktails, sheer romance, excitement, and heart-thumping dances that light up Krabi’s nightlife and should not be missed by any party freaks like me and many of you.

Where to party next? Koh Lanta’s nightlife is only 85km away. You can easily get to Koh Lanta from Krabi by ferry and/or bus. After that, you can easily find paradise on Koh Mook Island.
